Senior Center Boiler Replacement Project - PJ No. 2657

The project consists of the following: Demolish and Remove (2) Existing Boilers and Piping below ceiling, Demolish and Remove Existing Circulating Pumps, Expansion Tank, Chemical Feeder and Air Separator, Procure and Install (2) New High Efficiency Boilers and Pumps and (1) Expansion Tank, Chemical Feeder and Air Separator, Install New Isolation Valves for Circulation Pumps and Air Separator, Install New Electronic Valves for each Boiler, Install New Piping and Isolation Valves below ceiling for 3 zones, Insulate all Piping, Provide BACNET Card for Boiler BMS Control Capability Factory Startup and Test, Confirm Proper Boiler Online System Operation and Cleanup Work Area, providing required submittals, testing results, final testing and cleanup, attending weekly meetings, providing schedules, and coordinating with other projects or events ongoing at the Senior Center. This project includes preparatory work and site cleanup daily, and all other work as specified in these Special Provisions, Technical Sections, and as shown on the Plans.

Required Pre-Bid Job Meeting: The City will host a required pre-bid job meeting on Thursday June 27th at 11 am at the Concord Senior Center, located at 2727 Parkside Circle, Concord CA 94519. During this meeting, the grounds around the Senior Center, and access to the boiler room and electrical room will be made available to any perspective bidders. At this meeting, a sign in sheet will be passed around. The pre-bid job meeting is required and any bidders who do not attend may have their bid deemed non-responsive. Questions received will be answered in writing. Perspective bidders are advised to take photos and document all existing conditions of the Senior Center Boiler Room.
